Benefits of Red Wine

Reviewed on June 6th, 2007 by Michelle

Red wine is rich in antioxidants called flavonoids that can help protect your heart. Recent researchers show that drinking a glass a day may help protect you from heart disease, cancer, and stroke.

Wine can also reduce your risk of blood clots, and positively impact lipids in the blood after a meal.

You may not consume any alcohol, if you have liver disease, depression, hypertension and congestive heart failure.
