Researchers from Friedrich Schiller University in Germany, discovered people with gum disease who ate two grapefruit a day raised vitamin C plasma levels much less bleeding from the gums. The researchers suggested you shouldn’t brush your teeth immediately after eating grapefruit as it is acidic and can weaken tooth enamel.
