Many people do not know the warning signs of diabetes. They may be attributing those symptoms to other conditions. The only way to know is to have glucose testing done. It should be stressed that diabetes dramatically increases your susceptibility to other serious conditions and that controlling your blood sugar is the first step to enjoying better health.

Here are some common warning signs of diabetes:
Increased thirst or hunger, dry mouth, frequent urination, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, blurred vision, headaches, tingling or numbness in your hands, legs or feet. Other signs and symptoms that can occur when skin is dry or itchy, frequent infections or cuts and bruises that take a long time to heal.
